July Tips

·         Many plants are flowering or fruiting rather than growing so give them a feed

·         Mulch runner beans when the soil is damp. Thin young beetroot

·         Trim back spring-flowering clematis after flowering and remove stems affected by wilt

·         Keep bird baths topped up especially in hot, dry weather
